Pippi Longstocking

by Astrid Lindgren

Pippi Longstocking was my favourite book at the start 2016. My favourite chapter is when Pippi dances with burglars who saw all her money and gold, she caught them and started to dance with them. Pippi lives by herself in a little cottage called Villa Villakula, she also has a  horse
(which she can lift up) and a monkey called Mr Nilson. Pippi's mum  died when Pippi was little
and her dad sailed away never to be seen again. The most memorable chapter is when Pippi plays
tag with the policemen and she hops on the roof. Pippi has mixed emotions throughout the story, she has lots of fabulous adventures including meeting Tommy and Annika, going to school and lots more.
I highly recommend reading Pippi Longstocking
